Belleville Festival of Lights

Jane Forrester Park Belleville

The Festival of Lights runs from Nov. 17 to Jan. 7 at Jane Forrester Park. This year’s display will feature exciting new installations including a gingerbread man, penguin and an interactive snowman. Attendees are encouraged to take photos with the displays and show their love by using the hashtag #BellevilleFestivalofLights. In addition to the launch night, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make appearances at the display every Friday night from Dec. 1 to 22, collecting letters and Christmas wishes before the big day. Scenes of Quinte at the QAC

It is time for the 2nd annual Scenes of Quinte show! Described as one of the most picturesque areas of the province, the Quinte region is full of beautiful vistas. Scenes of Quinte, captures those views on canvas, watercolour or photography. Scenes of Quinte opens November 2nd from 4-6 p.m. at the Quinte Arts Council (QAC) Gallery and Cultural Hub in Downtown Belleville with a chance to meet the artists. Fifteen local artists have captured the spirit of the area through their images from the Quinte region and beyond. These places surely hold a special place in the hearts of residents with a lifetime of memories made in the community. Get a head start on your holiday shopping with a piece of original art showcasing the beauty of the Quinte region. Opening reception is Thursday November 2nd from 4-6pm!
