Belleville Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights runs from Nov. 17 to Jan. 7 at Jane Forrester Park. This year’s display will feature exciting new installations including a gingerbread man, penguin and an interactive snowman. Attendees are encouraged to take photos with the displays and show their love by using the hashtag #BellevilleFestivalofLights. In addition to the launch night, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make appearances at the display every Friday night from Dec. 1 to 22, collecting letters and Christmas wishes before the big day. City of Belleville New Year’s Levee

Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre 265 Cannifton Road, Belleville, Canada

Mayor Neil Ellis and Belleville City Council invite residents to join them to ring in the new year at the annual New Year’s Levee on Monday, Jan. 1. This year’s event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and all members of the community are welcome to attend. Mayor, Council and City of Belleville staff will be in attendance to greet and chat with those in attendance. Mayor Ellis will also provide a recap of the year and what is to come in 2024. Refreshments will be provided.
