SUMMARY:Introduction to Beekeeping Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Learn everything you need to become a beekeeper. Topics will include but are not limited to Beekeeping Basics\, Hive inspection\, Identifying types of bees in the colony\, and Pest Management. You will receive a digital PDF of our Beekeeping Basics Handbook. There will be a morning instructional period\, a 30 minute break for participants to each their bag lunches and then an afternoon session that will finish off the instructional period then a hands-on session in the apiary. There are limited spots so don’t wait to register at www.apitourism.ca. Limited to persons 16 years and older.
