We’re excited to announce the Discover Belleville Visitor’s Guide Photo & Artwork Contest – celebrating all that Belleville has to offer. From its vibrant waterfront and natural beauty to its local culture and celebrations, people, and hidden gems, this is your chance to showcase what makes Belleville special through your creative lens. Share your unique perspective and help us showcase our city in our annual tourist guide.
We will be printing 12,000 copies of the guide in early March 2026 to be distributed locally in Belleville and the Bay of Quinte, as well as to a variety of tourist centres throughout Ontario.
There are seven categories to choose from – and there will be a winner from each category, as well as one photo/artwork to be featured as the cover image of the guide. Each winner will receive a $200 cash prize, have their image in the 2026 Discover Belleville Visitor’s Guide with appropriate photo/artwork credit, and showcased on the Discover Belleville website throughout 2026.

- Parks & Trails
Your best ‘moving through Belleville’ shots: Riverfront Trail, boardwalks, bikes, strollers, bird sightings, children and families playing.
- Downtown Strolls & Local Shopping
Show us a storefront you love, a window display, a ‘main street’ moment, or your favourite downtown corner.
- Architecture & Landmarks
Historic architecture and landmarks, museum moments, old-meets-new details—show us Belleville’s character.
- Events & Community Energy
Share a favourite community moment – festival, market, community celebration. Capture the crowds, music, and colours.
- Food & Drink Discoveries
Plate, patio, latte, or local treat—tell us where you stopped and what you ordered.”
