Located on the corner of Church and Dundas Streets, Meyers Creek Brewing’s taproom, porch and patio are fully accessible spaces that surround you in the warmth of 19th century brick and a smile to greet you. Stop in, say hello to Gretta, Bill and Rick, grab a beer, pull up a chair and relax or ask for a tour of the brewery’s production space!
The taproom features a beautiful Italian stainless steel draft tower pouring 16 different hand crafted in house made beers. Balanced with floor to ceiling windows and patio doors, the room is washed in golden sunlight in the afternoons. When you arrive, pull up a chair at the beautiful resin top bar, gather with friends around one of the high bars or tuck yourself into a table have a flight and reconnect with your favorite people.
Meyers Creek offers regular weekly live music, vinyl listening parties on Wednesdays and open mic events on Thursdays.
Founded out of friendship and a fine home brew, Meyers Creek has grown into a small-town industry, offering 19 distinct beverages.
With names like Stoney Lonesome, Auntie’s Apricot Ale, Fireside, East Hill and Midnight in Bellevegas, you get a good sense of the adventure, local love, and innovation in their work.
But don’t worry, if your tastes are more conventional, they do offer a wide selection of great tasting IPAs, Ales, and a Pilsner. And if you don’t think you like beer, the Earl Grey is worth a try!
Meyers Creek has expanded their offerings to include merchandise such as toques, t-shirts, keychains and playing cards.
Their three-season patio extends the fun outside, and they often host Open Mic Nights and intimate concerts.
For those in need of fresh air, you can take advantage of their outdoor pet friendly spaces. The porch raised up above street height, surrounded by glass panel railing offers a wonderful view of the city looking west. The porch continues on to a ground level patio space that features a mix of tables, picnic tables, spindles and stools as well as relaxing Muskoka chairs. Whether you are in the mood for full sun spots or shade provided by awnings, umbrellas and a gazebo the patio is a great place to gather with friends or challenge them to a game of corn hole, giant Jenga or Connect 4.
