About Belleville

Tsyohnà:wate (Belleville) is located on the territory of the Huron-Wendat, the Anishnaabeg, and the Haudenosaunee people. The City shares the shorelines of the magnificent Bay of Quinte with Kenhtè:ke (Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory). Belleville plays host to numerous festivals and events that take place throughout the year. Belleville is home to boating/rowing clubs and associations, the Quinte Curling Club and YMCA.

The City’s Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department runs a full roster of recreational programming throughout the City year-round.  MA Sills Park is one of Ontario’s best track and field facilities and has hosted a number of premiere track-and-field events.  The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre is a state-of-the-art facility with an array of services to help you enjoy life and live to the fullest.
