Get a behind-the-doors look at some of Belleville’s most well-known landmarks and facilities during Doors Open on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Doors Open Belleville is an event sponsored by Heritage Belleville, an advisory committee of the City of Belleville. The event has taken place since 2002 in association with the Heritage Trust and Doors Open Ontario. All the sites are free to visit, with volunteers ready to provide information and a tour of their facility. This year’s locations include:
• Belleville City Hall – 169 Front St. (open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only)
• Glanmore National Historic Site – 257 Bridge St. East
• Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County – 254 Pinnacle St.
• Islamic Society of Belleville – 33 Moira St. West
• We Thrive Wellness Centre – 161 Front St.
• Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Museum – 187 Pinnacle St.
• Parrot Riverfront Trail – Start at 9 Station St.
• Corby Park Rose Garden – 210 Ann St.
• Ameliasburgh Heritage Village – 517 County Rd. 19 (Ameliasburgh)
• Zone Athletics, Home of Pegasus Cheer – 1989 Old Hwy. 2 (open noon to 4 p.m. only)
• Belleville Club – 210 Pinnacle St.
• Meyers Creek Brewing Co. – 60 Dundas St. East
