Join us to learn and sing traditional Ukrainian holiday carols in this community singalong gathering. Free and open to the public, with suggested donations for Ukraine Aid (delivered via direct personal connections on the ground – no red tape 100% impact!) Ukrainian tea and other treats will be shared as well. The Kafana co-owner Corinne will be leading the singalong. Lyrics will be provided in English alphabet as well as Ukrainian. No experience necessary – just curiosity and generosity! YOU ALREADY KNOW ONE UKRAINIAN CAROL! Did you know? “Carol of the Bells” is actually a UKRAINIAN holiday melody! (with original words in Ukrainian of course…) Corinne has studied and performed Ukrainian traditional songs professionally since 2010 with groups such as Kitka Women’s Vocal Ensemble and is delighted to share these songs with the local Quinte community!
