Chase Cha (Lao-Cha) voices a contemporary message of inquiry into being and potential. Cha exemplifies his self-termed “Adlib Aesthetics” via a performative forbidding of direct visual references while wielding a spray can. This event takes place on the final day of Chase Cha’s solo exhibition “This Midlife Crisis” and provides the opportunity to hear the artist speak and perform while viewing the show one last time. Guitar is Mike’s main instrument but he continues to work professionally as a lead vocalist and bassist. As a producer he continues to produce and write for artists that are attracted to Mike’s subtle but caring process. In 2013, Mike was fortunate to be hired to produce the award winning musical short film, “Sad Monster” by Kurt Dettbarn.

We are welcoming Meaghan for her first official visit to the taproom’s music corner! Meaghan has performed at a number of our open mic events, much to the delight of all so it only seemed right to have her back for her own show. A little bit about Meaghan Meaghan Love is a local musician who has cultivated an impressive acoustic solo show, as well as fronting local band, The Chachkies. With her acoustic guitar showcasing her powerful vocals, Meaghan has played to patrons of various establishments in and around the Quinte area for the past 15 years. She focuses on “acoustic music for all occasions”—music that is uplifting and fun for all types of occasions, venues and audiences.
