Galentine’s Day – February 13th – is all about celebrating your besties with great food, amazing cocktails, and all the love, so join us with your girl gang and celebrate at The Local Social House. We will be starting our Valentine’s Day features one day early so you can celebrate Galentine’s Day on the 13th: – Sip on The Love Letter, our special Galentine’s cocktail – Treat yourself to a 5-course prix fixe menu ($75) with optional wine pairing OR order a la carte – Toast to friendship, fun, and fabulous vibes! Art Classes for Children and Adults – Belleville

Enjoy art? Working with different materials? These six week sessions combine mixed media collage and painting. For children, we’ll learn about the basics of painting, from composition, to colour choice, and creating texture. Through mixed media work, we’ll learn how to combine different materials, and create our own designs. With adult classes we’ll work with different techniques in mixed media to expand our artistic repertoire. Adult classes will also include bring your own project and crochet options. Modal Music Concert by Labyrinth Nimble Ensemble at The Kafana

Join us for an evening of modal music presented by Nimble Ensemble (https://www.labyrinthontario.com/) The Kafana is excited to provide this opportunity for the Belleville community to enjoy the unique experience of modal music here in the Quinte region. In an effort to create accessibility to this music, we have decided NOT to require a ticket purchase for this experience. However, we truly appreciate you contributing within your means, to ensure these fantastic musicians are compensate for the hard work learning this beautifully complicated musical tradition, and traveling to us here in Belleville. We suggest a sliding scale between $20-40 per person, but we encourage all those intrigued and interested to join us regardless of financial means. You may include your contribution in advance with your RSVP here, or you may contribute on site during/after the performance via cash or credit/interac. All contributions go toward musician stipends and travel costs. All seating is first-come/first-sit 😉 The Kafana bar and kitchen will be open for your snacking and drinking enjoyment during the performance.
