Glanmore National Historic Site will hold a number of “Museum Chats” throughout Heritage Week (February 17-22, 2025). These chats will be held in an informal presentation format with museum staff, and will feature a variety of topics. Regular museum admission applies.
Enjoy art? Working with different materials? These six week sessions combine mixed media collage and painting. For children, we’ll learn about the basics of painting, from composition, to colour choice, and creating texture. Through mixed media work, we’ll learn how to combine different materials, and create our own designs. With adult classes we’ll work with different techniques in mixed media to expand our artistic repertoire. Adult classes will also include bring your own project and crochet options.
