Belleville Walk for Alzheimer’s

Jane Forrester Park Belleville

Join us for the Belleville IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s on Saturday, May 24th at Jane Forrester Park, walking the Bayshore Trail. Registration opens at 9:30 am and the Walk is from 10 am – 12 pm. Everyone welcome to attend this free public community event. No cost to attend or participate. Other Walk events: Quinte West (May 24 – Centennial Park), PEC (May 24 – Macaulay Heritage Park), Bancroft (May 25 – Millennium Park), Tweed (May 25 – Tweed Fairgrounds), and Brighton (May 25 – Ontario St Boat Launch). Our guest artists are Chris Finkle with his oil paintings in “My Musings Through Art,” and Tom Ashbourne with his sculptures in “Elation,” exploring the essence of the stone.
Our Featured Member Artist, Frances Key, presents “In Reverie” with evocative oil images and an intriguing installation piece.
Please join our Guest and Member Artists for refreshments at a reception being held on Saturday, April 26th 2 – 4 p.m.

LIVE MUSIC: Scott Maybee

Meyers Creek Brewing 60 Dundas St E, Belleville

Join us for live music from Scott Maybee on May 24 from 7-9pm. An experienced self-trained singer & musician in the area, Scott Maybee has been playing music for over 20 years, performing on hundreds of stages both in intimate acoustic settings as well as large rock concerts throughout the province. Originally residing in Ottawa, Scott recently moved to the region and has been busy with music ever since.

Scott performs an eclectic mix of acoustic guitar-driven reworked classics as well as modern material, covering such artists as Eric Clapton, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Ian Thornley, One Republic, Chris Cornell, The Beatles, Elton John, Big Sugar, CCR and The Tragically Hip to name a few.
