Parrott Gallery, Belleville Art Association, and Gallery 121, this unique event invites you to explore artistic interpretations of 19th-century Ontario life. Step into each gallery to discover historical artwork curated from the collection at the Glanmore National Historic Site, accompanied by scripted historical notes that bring the stories behind the works to life. Bentley Davidson, also known as Pint Sized Gord is hosting Quinte Has Talent, a one-day, all-ages community talent show on Saturday, November 29th, doors open at 5 p.m. at Centennial Secondary School in Belleville. The event will showcase singers, dancers, comedians, and performers of all kinds. Celebrity judges, including Maggie Cassella, Tyler Wilkinson, Shannon McDonough, Dug Stevenson, and Bentley himself, will join us for a fun-filled evening. Most importantly, all proceeds will support pediatric care at Kingston General Hospital (UHKF) and mental health programs at Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
Take in the sights and sounds of the holiday season with the Belleville Festival of Lights lighting display at Jane Forrester Park! This year’s display features three new installations: an interactive snowman photo frame, “Belleville” ASL finger spelling sign and a special display honouring the Kort family.
We are welcoming back Meaghan for another visit! A little bit about Meaghan Meaghan Love is a local musician who has cultivated an impressive acoustic solo show, as well as fronting local band, The Chachkies. With her acoustic guitar showcasing her powerful vocals, Meaghan has played to patrons of various establishments in and around the Quinte area for the past 15 years. She focuses on “acoustic music for all occasions”—music that is uplifting and fun for all types of occasions, venues and audiences.
