Fresh, briny, perfectly shuckable oysters are brought in just for you—and we’re serving them up at our cost: only $1.75 each (an incredible deal)! Pair them with a crisp County wine or a cold local craft beer, and take in the waterfront views while you slurp, sip, and savour. Bridging Communities – Crochet Circle with artist/educator Emebet Belete
Emebet’s current art project is Bridging Communities, a large-scale art installation where community members will create crochet, and cover the downtown Front Street Bridge in stripes, blocks and patterns! Over the past year, she has taught and involved students in six area schools in the art of crochet.
Open for youth and adults, experienced and beginners, individuals, families and friends!
How You Can Get Involved:
Crochet a piece (or more!) for the bridge.
Join the organizing committee to help steer the project.
Teach others to crochet and share your skills.
Help distribute crocheting materials to participants.
Collaborate with your group or organization to crochet pieces.
Form a crochet group with friends or partners.
Sponsor a pillar to support the project financially.
Donate yarn to ensure we have enough materials.
Contribute to the GoFundMe to help cover project costs.

Take in the sights and sounds of the holiday season with the Belleville Festival of Lights lighting display at Jane Forrester Park! This year’s display features three new installations: an interactive snowman photo frame, “Belleville” ASL finger spelling sign and a special display honouring the Kort family.
The Parrott Gallery invites you to “All Things Merry & Bright” from the Studio of Douglas Von Edelmann on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend this free concert in Gallery 1, doors open at 6:15 p.m. Complimentary coffee and cookies will be available and donations are welcome. We look forward to you joining us for this seasonal celebration of song!
