Belleville Arts Festival – Art Crawl

Downtown Belleville Gallery District

Experience a curated art crawl through Belleville’s gallery district, where history and creativity come alive. Presented in partnership with the QAC Cultural Hub and Gallery, John M. Parrott Gallery, Belleville Art Association, and Gallery 121, this unique event invites you to explore artistic interpretations of 19th-century Ontario life. Step into each gallery to discover historical artwork curated from the collection at the Glanmore National Historic Site, accompanied by scripted historical notes that bring the stories behind the works to life. Pick up a Gallery Crawl Card at any participating location, enjoy the exhibits, and collect a stamp at each stop for your chance to win a one-year membership to Glanmore. Take a stroll through Belleville’s vibrant art district and immerse yourself in the culture, history, and artistry of Ontario’s past. QAC Cultural Hub Belleville Art Association Gallery 121 John M. Gallery 121’s Christmas Holiday Show

The Members of Gallery 121 invite you to celebrate this Season at our Holiday Show, Nov.18th – Dec. 24th; reception Saturday, Nov. 22nd. 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Our space will be adorned with wood working, found object dolls, fused glass designs, decorative brooms and more!

Belleville Arts Festival – Collaborative Exhibition

J.M. Parrott Gallery 254 Pinnacle, Belleville

An immersive, collaborative exhibition highlighting 19th-century Ontario life and the Moodie family, presented in partnership with the Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County, the Parrott Gallery, and Glanmore National Historic Site. Archival material, artworks, and historical objects will bring the Moodie era to life for visitors throughout the month.

Join the Bridging Communities project!

Bridging Communities – Crochet Circle with artist/educator Emebet Belete
Emebet’s current art project is Bridging Communities, a large-scale art installation where community members will create crochet, and cover the downtown Front Street Bridge in stripes, blocks and patterns! Over the past year, she has taught and involved students in six area schools in the art of crochet.

Open for youth and adults, experienced and beginners, individuals, families and friends!

How You Can Get Involved:
Crochet a piece (or more!) for the bridge.
Join the organizing committee to help steer the project.
Teach others to crochet and share your skills.
Help distribute crocheting materials to participants.
Collaborate with your group or organization to crochet pieces.
Form a crochet group with friends or partners.
Sponsor a pillar to support the project financially.
Donate yarn to ensure we have enough materials.
Contribute to the GoFundMe to help cover project costs.
