Drop-In Youth Chess Club

Join us at Belleville Public Library for a biweekly evening of chess fun! Players of all skill levels are welcome. For children & youth aged 9 – 17. This is a free, drop-in program. Biweekly on Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Children 10 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Drop-in program. 1st Floor Children’s Program Room.

Adult Chess Club

Belleville Public Library 254 Pinnacle Street, Belleville, ON

Belleville Public Library's Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets every Monday at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are invited to this informal, self-led program. To register call (613) 968-6731 ext. 2037 or email infoserv@bellevillelibrary.ca. Drop-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to register if you'd like notifications about any updates or weather related cancellations.

The Eyrie: Birds of Prey

This educational demonstration by The Eyrie will feature 4-5 different species of raptors and contain a high amount of fun information about birds of prey, including biology, physiology, behaviours, habitat, how they interact with their ecosystem, as well as how we as humans can become better stewards of the environment in which we all live.
