    The Parrott Gallery invites you to the Opening Reception for “Perspectives on Nature” by The Cactus Club on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. This group exhibition includes artwork by three Toronto artists: Hugh Alcock, Marie de Sousa and Harry Staple.     The Quinte Arts Council is honoured to celebrate Hands in Commemoration, a landmark festival recognizing our local Deaf culture and the deep significance of the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf in our community. At the heart of this festival is the powerful exhibition of De’VIA (which stands for Deaf View/Image Art) at the John M. Parrott Art Gallery. These works affirm Deaf identity, share lived stories, and celebrate American Sign Language (ASL) as both a language and a vibrant cultural expression. The exhibition will be on display until October 18th.
