Owen Fullerton is the lead singer/songwriter of indie rock/folk band Willy Nilly. The now Montreal, formerly Kingston based band released both a debut EP and album in 2021 and are finishing up a second album set for release before the end of the year. Willy Nilly’s sound is unique and difficult to pin down, with a vaguely familiar feel that combines a variety of influences. Solo shows see a mix of originals and a wide range of covers, mostly modern indie and classic rock/folk.

Chris Morris is a folk singer based in Prince Edward County. A casually charismatic performer with a penchant for tall tales and a near exhaustive repertoire of songs to charm audiences of all temperaments, musical stalwart Chris Morris has carved out a reputation as a popular, in-demand singer/songwriter/musician on festival stages, pubs and clubs throughout Eastern Ontario. Known for invoking an atmosphere of unbridled fun, storytelling moxy and musical dexterity to any stage, Morris brings the same level of commitment to his sometimes wildly varied set list of classic covers as he does to his bitingly clever and unabashedly authentic original material, making for a potent, must-see experience. While it’s easiest to identify his delivery and style under the broadly inclusive Folk umbrella, Morris cites the music of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, country troubadour Hank Williams, the psychedelic mastery of The Grateful Dead and jazzy machinations of Phish as equally inspiring alongside giants of folk such as Woody Guthrie, Lead Belly – not to mention the iconic Bob Dylan and of course Kingston legends The Tragically Hip

The Music Machine – DJ Christopher Born and raised in Toronto, DJ Christopher developed a lifelong love of music through late-night radio and the iconic CFNY 102.1, The Spirit of Radio. His early years were spent immersed in the Queen Street West club scene, shaping a deep and eclectic musical taste. Now based in The County since 2020, The Music Machine is a journey through the sounds he’s collected over a lifetime—blending brand-new indie discoveries with timeless classics. Expect anything from emerging UK indie tracks to vintage gems by Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, or The Stone Roses, with the occasional surprise from Massive Attack or New Order. Musicians Alex and Nathan have played for us before as part of the band Bad Tractor but these two awesome musicians have their own side project and we are stoked to have them come back and play for us!

All the music, none of the pressure! We have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing musically inclined people who love to play but are looking for something more casual and cooperative than our open mic format. So join us for our unplugged jam session. Whether it’s a guitar, mandolin, cajon, ukulele, or other acoustic instrument players of all skill levels are welcome, or just come to listen and sing along! So how’s a jam different? – A “jam” is any music played without preparation beforehand. This might mean that the music is undefined, or simply that the running order and the musicians are.

Gerald McGrath, a seasoned indie musician with a musical journey spanning more than two decades, is poised to make his mark in the Kingston music scene. His debut album, ‘This Is Fine,’ was released in April of 2024. With over 20 years of experience, Gerald has honed his craft, delivering heartfelt original compositions that resonate deeply with listeners. He has a unique talent for conveying emotion through his lyrics and melodies, creating music that is both relatable and memorable. Gerald’s music is influenced by some of the greats, including Gord Downie, Elvis Costello and Butch Walker, whose legacy has left a lasting imprint on his sound. This inspiration is evident in the emotional depth, lyrical complexity, and unique sonic palette present in his music.

Born and raised in Hastings and PEC, Matt Smith is a veteran multi-instrumentalist. A singer-songwriter, and multi-genre interpreter. As a world-class finger style and slide guitarist, and mandolinist, his solo performances are sure to please, as he delivers his authentic and unique perspective on roots, blues, jazz standards and classic popular music.
