Gerald McGrath, a seasoned indie musician with a musical journey spanning more than two decades, is poised to make his mark in the Kingston music scene. His debut album, ‘This Is Fine,’ was released in April of 2024. With over 20 years of experience, Gerald has honed his craft, delivering heartfelt original compositions that resonate deeply with listeners. He has a unique talent for conveying emotion through his lyrics and melodies, creating music that is both relatable and memorable. Gerald’s music is influenced by some of the greats, including Gord Downie, Elvis Costello and Butch Walker, whose legacy has left a lasting imprint on his sound. This inspiration is evident in the emotional depth, lyrical complexity, and unique sonic palette present in his music.

Our 4th annual Porchfest After Party is back to keep the tunes going! The tradition of singing around a campfire has existed for centuries. It’s a time when friends gather to share, laugh and make music. Musicians jamming together sharing stories, playing along where the mood takes them. Join us for this loosely curated evening of music as we listen, laugh and drink beer! It’s become a tradition to have our friends Sparky and the Matchsticks are play our Porchfest After Party festivities and this year is no different! This crew of awesome musicians and friends came together for our first Porchfest After Party and we love having them back each year to continue the tradition.
Mark is a singer-songwriter who delivers an eclectic set of blues, folk, rock and country interspersed with his handcrafted original tunes! He’s played for us in the past and occasionally treats us to impromptu performances in the taproom, its always a fun time.

4 Authors 1 Great Event! Join us in the taproom on the afternoon of Sunday Sept 21 for our first Drunk Fiction event. An irreverent and fun reading series, Drunk Fiction lets readers and writers hang, create community and support Can Lit. Guests will have the opportunity to chat with and purchase book from the authors after the reading. Local Canadian Authors: Catherine Bush, Andrew Forbes, Paul Nicholas Mason and Vanessa Westerman will be in attendance. Tracey of Stirling Books will read from Drunk Fiction Creator’s Emily A Weedon’s new novel, Hemo Sapiens.

Bobby performs throughout the County & surrounding areas, playing a wide variety of Pop, Rock, Folk & Country songs Acoustic Style
