    Come and play the drums with us! Every Friday at the QAC Cultural Hub – join us for classes and learn to play African drums such as djembe, kpanlogo, and gome. Learn proper technique, learn several parts to a song, and join in an ensemble that will shake the house! Along with playing, learn about the history of the drums, how they are made, and the cultural significance of the music we will play. Bridging Communities – Crochet Circle with artist/educator Emebet Belete Emebet’s current art project is Bridging Communities, a large-scale art installation where community members will create crochet, and cover the downtown Front Street Bridge in stripes, blocks and patterns! Over the past year, she has taught and involved students in six area schools in the art of crochet. Open for youth and adults, experienced and beginners, individuals, families and friends!
