Guided step-by-step, you’ll mix oils, work with lye safely, and explore how to customize your soap with natural colours, botanicals, and scents. You’ll also learn how to pour and design your batch for a beautiful finished look. This class is designed to be beginner-friendly, with a strong focus on: Understanding the cold process method, safe handling and best practices, creating balanced, skin-loving soap recipes, and simple techniques for colour and design By the end of the class, you’ll have your own custom batch poured and ready to cure—plus the knowledge and confidence to continue creating at home. Please note: Cold process soap requires time to cure. Your soap will need approximately 4–6 weeks before it’s ready to use, allowing it to harden and become long-lasting and gentle on the skin. All supplies and instruction are included—just bring your curiosity and enjoy the process. Whether you’ve never picked up a drill before or you’re looking to build confidence with tools, this class is designed to guide you step-by-step through the process. You’ll learn measuring, assembly, drilling, sanding, and finishing techniques while creating a functional piece you’ll be proud to display all season long. Expect sawdust, creativity, great conversation, and that deeply satisfying feeling of saying “I built this.” This project is built with pine, you will be invited to paint or stain to make this planter suit your style. This class is perfect for a solo creative night out, a friends afternoon, or anyone craving a slower paced, hands-on experience away from screens and everyday stress.
