RECEPTION JULY 19TH 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Our Guest Artist is a talented, award winner and well know leader within the artistic community. Judy Clark creates, teaches and organizes events that highlight her expertise in the rendering of evocative portraits and dazzling landscapes. Judy will be joined by our featured member artist Linda Phipps Nicoll, Members and Volounteer Member Shirley Foster.
Linda’s delightful landscapes and skyscapes are inspired by her interest in the infusion of light, line and colour. Many of her art pieces are created at her cottage where Linda gazes over brilliant waters and bedazzling skies. Her juried works have been viewed in exhibitions throughout the area.
Shirley Foster magical and miniature needlework creations are featured at Gallery 121 as well as local exhibits. Her works has been shown in juried shows and been displayed in workshops she has organized as well as part of an Australian project
Our late Summer Show will include the eclectic work of our membership as well as the elegant carved woodwork of Marcin Stefanski. Featured Member Artist Elizabeth Fearon will join forces with Steve Armstrong in their show entitled “Small Meditations”. Steve will present interesting photographs of tiny objects while Elizabeth will display miniature carvings.
This show runs from August 26th to October 4th, with a Reception to meet the artists being held August 2-4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Kids Got Talent is the signature fundraising event for the Children’s Safety Village of Belleville. This exciting and heartwarming talent showcase celebrates the incredible abilities of youth aged 4 to 17 from across our region. Singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, comedians, and other young performers take the stage in a joyful celebration of talent, creativity, and confidence.
The event is inclusive of all skill levels and open to children of all abilities. It offers a rare opportunity for local youth to shine in a professional theatre setting while their friends, family, and community cheer them on.
Proceeds from Kids Got Talent directly support the Children’s Safety Village and its mission to provide free safety education programs on topics like fire safety, street safety, internet safety, and more. Every ticket purchased and every donation made goes toward creating a safer future for the children in our community.

Kids Got Talent – Live at The Empire Theatre Looking for a fun night out with family, friends, or even a date? Join us on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Empire Theatre in Belleville for the live finale of Kids Got Talent – Season 6! Come cheer on the Top 20 youth performers (ages 4–17) from across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties as they showcase their incredible talents — from singers and dancers to magicians, gymnasts, and more. Cash prizes are up for grabs, and the show will feature special performances, including: An opening solo by last year’s overall winner, Willow Foley A powerful grand finale of “This Is My Canada / Mon cher Canada” led by local singer-songwriter Jeanette Arsenault This uplifting event is the perfect outing for families, couples, or anyone looking for an inspiring evening of entertainment — all in support of the Children’s Safety Village of Belleville.

Belleville Public Library's Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets every Monday at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are invited to this informal, self-led program. Bridging Communities – Crochet Circle with artist/educator Emebet Belete
Emebet’s current art project is Bridging Communities, a large-scale art installation where community members will create crochet, and cover the downtown Front Street Bridge in stripes, blocks and patterns! Over the past year, she has taught and involved students in six area schools in the art of crochet.
Open for youth and adults, experienced and beginners, individuals, families and friends!
How You Can Get Involved:
Crochet a piece (or more!) for the bridge.
Join the organizing committee to help steer the project.
Teach others to crochet and share your skills.
Help distribute crocheting materials to participants.
Collaborate with your group or organization to crochet pieces.
Form a crochet group with friends or partners.
Sponsor a pillar to support the project financially.
Donate yarn to ensure we have enough materials.
Contribute to the GoFundMe to help cover project costs.
