EARLY SUMMER SHOW – GALLERY 121 – JUNE 2nd– JULY 11th RECEPTION – JUNE 6th, 2026 The members of Gallery 121 are pleased to present their Early Summer Show, showcasing Guest Artists Emóke Wilson, Michael Amar and Featured Member Artist Cara Wilson. Cara is a multi-dimensional artist, whose primary medium is acrylic augmented with textural media and found objects. During her years as an international designer Cara absorbed a wide range of style influences and since retiring has embraced mixed media and is a creator of inspired landscape work. Cara has supported her development through local association memberships, and her paintings have been exhibited widely in the region. Emóke Wilson claims that art has been her best friend since childhood. Today she is also a Mixed-Media Artist, creating expressionistic, exclusive one-of-a-kind 2D and 3D works that are captured in unconventional works using bold colours, patterns and textures. Michael Amar is a well-known artist in the Hastings and Kingston areas where he has presented both solo and group shows, including at the Parrott Gallery. Michael is a master of many mediums including, but not limited to oil, sculpting, wood, copper, and inks.

Join DM Cynthia on Thursday June 4th at 4pm to meet and discuss the campaign! She’ll answer your questions, ask you some questions, and put together a group (or two!) for a campaign. Cynthia is an experienced DM and local grade 12 student. We’re excited to have her kick off the first D&D meetup at Kafana! All are welcome for this inclusive group. If there are too many interested players, Cynthia will encourage others to step up to DM additional simultaneous groups. The proposed meetup time is Thursdays 4pm. June 4th will serve as a session zero, to meet the interested players and discuss the campaign and plan. June 11th is the proposed first campaign session. Interested players are encouraged to fill out the Google form interest form in advance so Cynthia can gauge how many people to expect. Filling out the form is simply an expression of interest. Final campaign(s) players will be determined at/after the June 4th meet and greet to ensure balanced groups with great gameplay. |

Cara is a multi-dimensional artist, whose primary medium is acrylic augmented with textural media and found objects. During her years as an international designer Cara absorbed a wide range of style influences and since retiring has embraced mixed media and is a creator of inspired landscape work. Cara has supported her development through local association memberships, and her paintings have been exhibited widely in the region. Emóke Wilson claims that art has been her best friend since childhood. Today she is also a Mixed-Media Artist, creating expressionistic, exclusive one-of-a-kind 2D and 3D works that are captured in unconventional works using bold colours, patterns and textures. Michael Amar is a well-known artist in the Hastings and Kingston areas where he has presented both solo and group shows, including at the Parrott Gallery. Michael is a master of many mediums including, but not limited to oil, sculpting, wood, copper, and inks.

Get ready for an evening of live music with toe-tapping, heart-pounding, Rockabilly, Honky Tonk fun! Merging the sounds of rock n roll from the genres golden era with the countrypolitan sounds of the 1960s, at 20 years old Nicholas Campbell has gained himself a reputation as “the real deal”. Campbell first picked up the guitar at age 10 and was gigging by 11. Having found a fresh start during the pandemic, Nicholas began playing consistently with his band, The Meter Cheaters, who quickly rediscovered their groove as live shows began to become an option once again and they wasted no time in seizing the opportunity. The band worked to release Campbell’s debut album Livin’ and Other Western Ideas in 2021, combining elements of rockabilly, western swing, and good old-fashioned honky tonk. The result was a brisk, invigorating album that feels as fresh as it does familiar. In 2023 the band worked alongside James McKenty on the 2024 release of Gonna Have a Ball Tonight!, Campbell’s sophomore record; an eclectic collection of songs recorded live off the floor by McKenty. The band has enjoyed worldwide coverage and airplay since, spanning from across North America to Europe and beyond. 2024 also saw the release of He Said She Said, the first single from a third upcoming album. With the success of the first two albums, and new singles to come, Campbell and The Meter Cheaters have pursued a tour schedule of more than 195 shows a year, with highlights in 2025 being – multiple tours, working alongside Chris Spedding on “A Rockabilly Boogie”, a Tribute to Robert Gordon, opening for The Jim Cuddy Band, backing up recent JUNO award winners, Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys with Paul Brandt, and the anticipated release of Campbell’s 3rd album. Cara is a multi-dimensional artist, whose primary medium is acrylic augmented with textural media and found objects. During her years as an international designer Cara absorbed a wide range of style influences and since retiring has embraced mixed media and is a creator of inspired landscape work. Cara has supported her development through local association memberships, and her paintings have been exhibited widely in the region. Emóke Wilson claims that art has been her best friend since childhood. Today she is also a Mixed-Media Artist, creating expressionistic, exclusive one-of-a-kind 2D and 3D works that are captured in unconventional works using bold colours, patterns and textures. Michael Amar is a well-known artist in the Hastings and Kingston areas where he has presented both solo and group shows, including at the Parrott Gallery. Michael is a master of many mediums including, but not limited to oil, sculpting, wood, copper, and inks.

The Shark 24 World Championship Regatta is coming to our region, and can be viewed on the Bay of Quinte from Meyers Pier. The Shark 24 is a 24 foot long sailboat, sailed by 3 persons, and is recognized by World Sailing as one of only 47 one-design keelboat classes. The Shark 24 World Championship is held annually, rotating between Canada and Europe, involving about 40 boats (120 sailors) from Canada, USA, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, plus international judges and race officers, and volunteers.

RISE is a space for women to be seen, heard, and honoured. This annual exhibition is an invitation to all who identify as women to share their artistic voices—bold or quiet, emerging or established—across painting, illustration, photography, mixed media, textiles, sculpture, and ceramics. Aligned with International Women’s Day 2026 and its theme Give to Gain, RISE explores what grows when we offer our time, our stories, our care, and our creativity. What do we gain when generosity becomes a practice? When women lift one another, what becomes possible—for ourselves, for our communities, for the future? RISE is more than an exhibition—it’s a gathering of voices, a shared platform, and a declaration that women’s creativity shapes culture. EARLY SUMMER SHOW – GALLERY 121 – JUNE 2nd– JULY 11th RECEPTION – JUNE 6th, 2026 The members of Gallery 121 are pleased to present their Early Summer Show, showcasing Guest Artists Emóke Wilson, Michael Amar and Featured Member Artist Cara Wilson. Cara is a multi-dimensional artist, whose primary medium is acrylic augmented with textural media and found objects. During her years as an international designer Cara absorbed a wide range of style influences and since retiring has embraced mixed media and is a creator of inspired landscape work. Cara has supported her development through local association memberships, and her paintings have been exhibited widely in the region. Emóke Wilson claims that art has been her best friend since childhood. Today she is also a Mixed-Media Artist, creating expressionistic, exclusive one-of-a-kind 2D and 3D works that are captured in unconventional works using bold colours, patterns and textures. Michael Amar is a well-known artist in the Hastings and Kingston areas where he has presented both solo and group shows, including at the Parrott Gallery. Michael is a master of many mediums including, but not limited to oil, sculpting, wood, copper, and inks.

Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover.
