Art Classes for Children (8-week program)
Young artists will explore their creativity through different techniques and mediums. We will be learning the fundamentals of drawing, understanding light and shadow, learning basic rules of composition, and using the elements of art and design in a supportive and encouraging environment. All materials will be provided. Come join our 8-week art sessions to explore, learn and create in drawing, painting, collage and 3d for ages 5-8 and 9-12. Session fee, $150. Plein Air in the Path of Totality
Meyers Pier 1 South Front Street, Belleville, Ontario, CanadaApril 8th 2024 join us in this unique celestial spectacle and be prepared to paint in the path of totality! The QAC will host a paint out at Myers Pier from 2pm to 4pm, Monday April 8th. Get a taste of what it’s like to paint En Plein Air and have the chance to paint in sun and darkness all at the same time! This event is FREE to join!! Complimentary solar eclipse glasses will be available for the first 20 attendees. Meyers Creek Brewing 60 Dundas St E, BellevilleWelcoming Victor Cooper back to the brewery. Raised in Eastern Ontario, Canada, Victor is one of eight children. He spent most of his childhood either climbing trees, or writing music. Soon music took over and for the past twenty years Victor has been writing his own material. His folksy sound and vocal range allow him to express himself through originals as well as a very wide variety of covers from Johnny Cash to Michael Jackson.
