    We Welcome the Public to Join our Celebration!

    The BQYC Jubilee Day Birthday will enable City Residents to participate in a vibrant celebration marking the 150th year of one of the oldest boating clubs in Canada. It will bring attention to the beautiful Belleville waterfront as an integral part of our community. Residents will see that there are opportunities for participation in active water sports such as sailing and power boating, as well as dragon boats and rowing clubs.

    This is a lifestyle that very few municipalities have on their list of recreational activities. The BQYC Jubilee Day party will allow families to participate in a wide range of activities for all ages.

  • Meditation Monday at The Kafana

    You will explore different meditation techniques including, but not limited to, vajrayana tradition, meditation of self-inquiry, tratak, etc.

    We’ll start at the top of the hour with an introduction of that day’s technique, followed by a discussion period (approximately 15-20 minutes), and wrap up with a sitting for about 30-40 minutes.
