Sweet Muriel, a dancer/choreographer has channeled these skills into a music career. Her incredible stage presence and totally unique voice along with her mandolin and tenor banjo playing are a perfect addition to a show that is truly unforgettably entertaining.
Showtime is 7:30pm at UpFront Cafe, 313 Front Street in downtown Belleville (www.upfrontcafe.ca). Tickets are $20 and available from www.universe.com/washboard0525 or call 613 849 1976

Want to get outside, meet your neighbours, and explore Belleville by bike?
Us, too.
So BOQ.BIKE put our heads together with our friends at The Fit Collective to bring you a new bi-weekly Thursday Night Ride Series, open to everyone – no membership required.
Think Belleville’s bad for biking? We’re here to prove the opposite.
TL;DR:
Every other Thursday evening (starting June 5)
Meet at 6:20, wheels down at 6:30 PM
Start location: The Fit Collective, 199 Front Street (gym entrance on Bridge)
Riding time: 60–90 minutes
Distance: 15–25 km depending on the week (conversational pace, no one left behind)
What to expect: Casual, social riding on in-town routes, great conversation, new friends, and a fun way to dip your toes into an active lifestyle. You might find yourself keeping the good times going by popping into the Lark or Kafana post-ride!
These are “no drop” rides – no one will be left behind, and we’ll stop often to regroup. All bike types are welcome, and riders must show up for the ride ready and self-sufficient, which means your bike is in working condition, and you have your helmet, bell, lights, water, snacks, and a positive attitude.
RSVP
The Fit Collective x bayofquinte.bike rides are open to the public and no membership or RSVP is required before arrival.
Waiver: https://boq.bike/waiver – Please sign before attending your first ride.
Want to join the club? Download Ride With GPS, create an account, then visit: https://ridewithgps.com/organizations/6600-bayofquinte-bike/join

Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is an inspiring, modern Cinderella for everyone, where “you make your wishes come true.” This is not your typical Cinderella– she is a strong woman who helps the Prince fulfill his destiny to lead his kingdom in a just and fair way. It is a robust and rich theatrical experience with complex music and stupendous, hand-crafted costumes.
