We have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing musically inclined people who love to play but are looking for something more casual and cooperative than our open mic format. Join us for our unplugged jam sessions. Whether it’s a guitar, mandolin, cajon, ukelele, or other acoustic instrument players of all skill levels are welcome, or just come to listen and sing along! So how’s a jam different? – First off it’s not performance-based! A “jam” is any music played without preparation beforehand. This might mean that the music is undefined, simply put, the group is letting the music pick the flow of what is played next.
Award winning country singer/songwriter Deborah Lynn was born and raised in Stirling Ontario. Traditional country roots with musical influences in folk and classic rock paired with her incredible vocal talent consistently leave audiences wanting to hear more. Deborah Lynn started singing, playing guitar and sharpening her song writing skills from a young age. However, music was put on the backburner after college while she was a small business owner in Toronto. It was a fateful trip to Nashville that reignited her artistic passion and put her on the road to becoming a rising country music artist. There she had the opportunity to play the songwriter’s open mic at the iconic Bluebird Café and join the house band on stage for a couple songs at the famed Tootsies on Broadway. Proud CCMA and CMAO member Deborah Lynn released her debut single April 17th, 2020 called Revive a Ghost. It quickly rose to Number 1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown and was nominated for a Josie Award for best female country song. The Josie Awards, hosted in Tennessee, are the largest international Indie Awards show with upwards of 50,000 submissions annually. For Deborah Lynn, watching her debut single rocketing all the way to the top of the Canadian Indie Country chart cemented that decision to jump in with both feet.
We’re welcoming Victor back to our taproom! Raised in Eastern Ontario, Canada, Victor is one of eight children. He spent most of his childhood either climbing trees, or writing music. Soon music took over and for the past twenty years Victor has been writing his own material. His folksy sound and vocal range allow him to express himself through originals as well as a very wide variety of covers from Johnny Cash to Michael Jackson. Victor is also co-owner of a creative agency called eighty Twenty studio in Belleville, Ontario which acts as a second outlet for his creativity. Married to Jodi Cooper since 2004, he finds her to be great inspiration for much of his music.

Hosted by musician Ray Flood our Open Mic format style session is open to all levels, genres, music, instruments, poetry, spoken word storytellers and comedy. We hope you will join us for a well-deserved bit of mid-week fun. This is not a karaoke event, please contact Ray directly to sign up at (613) 827 5797 or simply show up and we’ll do our best to get you a spot! Please note the physical space is small and is best suited for acoustic performances of a solo or at most a duo. A bit on Ray; Co-founder of the former band Fretless, Ray has performed throughout the Napanee/Picton/Belleville area. Most recently, Ray has been busy hosting and running Open Mics and Mini Festivals in the Belleville and Colbourn areas. Ray’s easy going manner creates a fun event for performers and the audiences alike. He blends seasoned guest musicians while encouraging new talents to take the stage.
O Green is a 21-year-old country singer-songwriter from Tyendinaga, Ontario. Blending the classic sound of 80s and 90s country with heartfelt original music rooted in real life. Drawing inspiration from legends like George Strait, David Lee Murphy, and Merle Haggard, he delivers performances that are nostalgic and authentic. His live shows are a crowd-pleasing mix of timeless country covers and original songs that speak to life experiences, family ties, the outdoors, and the simplicity of small-town living. Several of his original tracks have been released as singles, showcasing his talent for storytelling and his deep connection to the country music tradition. O Green is committed to growing his music career every step of the way. One song, one show, and one story at a time.

We are welcoming back Meaghan for another visit! A little bit about Meaghan Meaghan Love is a local musician who has cultivated an impressive acoustic solo show, as well as fronting local band, The Chachkies. With her acoustic guitar showcasing her powerful vocals, Meaghan has played to patrons of various establishments in and around the Quinte area for the past 15 years. She focuses on “acoustic music for all occasions”—music that is uplifting and fun for all types of occasions, venues and audiences.
