Belleville Public Library’s Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets on Mondays at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are welcome.  

Children will read individually to a St. John Ambulance therapy dog (and her handler) in our 1st Floor Program Room where young readers can feel comfortable, confident — and have fun! After all, a dog will not correct you or make you feel awkward if you stumble. For Beginner/Reluctant Readers ages 5 and up. Join our French Conversation Circle and practice your French speaking skills. There is no registration for this free, drop in program. The French Conversation Circle meets in the second floor cookbook nook of the library at 6:00pm.
