About Malcolm G. Kelly:
Mr. Kelly was a professional journalist for 37 years, and is now a bestselling author of four non-fiction books. Born in Bradford-on-Avon, England, he is the son of two Second World War veterans. Mr. Kelly has been deeply involved in the study of the human face of the conflict and how those caught up in it handled the stress, day-to-day life, and constant fear of death and injury, since first reading Cornelius Ryan’s The Longest Day at nine years old.

Mr. Kelly’s debut novel, SPROG: A Novel of Bomber Command, follows five young men as they journey to join the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941. They come from different places, and different lives, but they all share a dream: to fly. One is from Abilene, Texas, determined to get into the fight though his country is neutral. Another is a top high school athlete from Toronto, who wants to put his bravery to the test in the fight against Nazi Germany. A third is a from a small mill town who lies about his age to join a battle many other believe to be someone else’s problem.
