Town Hall (inside)- Historical Pictorial Display- 10:00am-4:00pm An extensive pictorial display of Napanee and the surrounding areas. The pictorial display captures our shared history through photographs and newspaper clippings.
Town Hall (outside) – Town Crier/ Start of Guided Walking Tour- 1:00pm-1:30pm On September 29, 1854, Napanee received elevated status and was by Royal Proclamation awarded Village status. In recognition and celebration of the 170 years since that date, the Heritage Committee will be offering a guided walking tour, visiting six of our historic buildings ( Town Hall, Post Office, Trinity Church, Railway Station, Museum and Archives, County Court House). Our buildings’ histories will be brought to life told by actors in period costumes. The event begins at Town Hall with a Town Crier reading the Proclamation after which the guided walking tour begins.
Static Display of Vintage Fire Engine Pump 41- 10:00am-4:00pm Napanee’s vintage fire engine (Pumper 1941) to be parked on the north side of Town Hall, directly across from the radio station where the old Fire Hall once stood. Fire engine Pumper 41 will be available for pictures throughout the day.
