On Sunday, August 25 th , starting at 2 pm, the Board of Trustees welcomes everyone to the Pilgrimage of exploration on the grounds around the church. You will be greeted by historians, custodians and reenactors who want to help you on your journey of knowledge of why Old Hay Bay Church has obtained four heritage designations. It is an opportunity to ‘walk’ through history and learn about the stories of the area. You can share your story with others. As you roam through the grounds and cemetery the peacefulness of the natural surroundings will welcome you. As three o’clock approaches you will make your way into the church for the annual pilgrimage service, with guest liturgist Rev. Aaron Miechkota, guest speaker Rev. Paul Reed, and professional singers Valerie Nunn and Gordon Burnett. This is a special service on the journey of the church and all those who have helped make it what it is today. Be part of the journey into the future. After the service there will be refreshments and a time for fellowship. For additional information check our Facebook pages, www.oldhaybaychurch.ca or call 613.373.9759.
The church is open to the public daily, from 930 am to 530 pm.
