Rubber on the Ramp is an annual charity event where civilian and military personnel are given an opportunity to take photos in front of designated Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft with their vehicles. This year, participants will have an opportunity take pictures in front of a CC177 Globemaster, a CF188 Hornet, a CH147F Chinook Helicopter, and a CC130J Hercules. Full proceeds will support CFB 8 Wing Trenton’s National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC) benefiting both United Way Hastings & Prince Edward’s annual fundraising campaign and HealthPartners. Two food trucks will be available with your choice of food for purchase on-site and local media will be on-site as well. Details on how to register can be found on the event link.
