Two Short Plays: “Sea Wall” and “The Black Chair”

Get ready to dive into the complicated and beautiful story of the human experience, with two unique and captivating plays. Witness a breathtaking solo performance in “Sea Wall” by Simon Stephens that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Explore the story of a devoted husband, a proud father, and a successful photographer named Alex, whose good fortune slips out from beneath his feet without warning, leaving Alex as a shell of the man he once was. Directed by Alex Crowther, and brought to life by the exceptional Toby Farrell. In “The Black Chair” written by Peter Paylor, audiences will uncover the intimate stories of fascinating characters as they interact with an old wooden chair. There’s James, an older gay man, he’s a “dandy”, and there’s Anne who works at the mall, she’s young and naïve. There’s Jeff, an engineer who keeps everything in, and Tina, who puts it all out there. And then there’s Mary, the caretaker. She’s the one with the keys. Featuring the dynamic directing duo of Alexandra Bell and Darren Moore and an all-star cast.

Trunk or Treat – Tyendinaga

Our annual Trunk or Treat event will go from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 27! There is no advanced registration, but you will need to register the day of the event. We look forward to seeing everyone’s Halloween costumes!

Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death

Pinnacle Playhouse 256 Pinnacle Street, Belleville,ON

The Belleville theatre Guild welcomes you to the first play of the season! Agatha Raisin is a character created by M.C. Beaton in a series of books. This is the first story in the series. This murder mystery is full of comical characters and intriguing details to keep you engaged. The cast of 19 features many returning Belleville Theatre Guild actors and a number of actors new to our stage. The show runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Opening night is Thursday, October 10th and the closing matinee is October 27th.

Tyendinaga Terror Trail

The Tyendinaga Terror Trail is Back! Family Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM $5 per person Teen/Adult Time: 8:30 PM – 11:00 PM $15 (ages 13 and under) $25 (ages 14 and up) This is a first-come, first-served event, and wait times may vary. The lineup is under a tent, but please dress appropriately for the weather. Food and Fun: Snacks, hot and cold drinks available for purchase Bouncy castles during daylight (weather permitting) Outdoor seating with heaters and a fire pit Photo opportunities and plenty of parking Entertainment: Family-friendly Halloween movies during Family Time Horror movies for Teen/Adult Time Tickets are cash only and sold in person. Use at your own risk. Scare you later!
