Gallery 121 – 2024 Fall Show

Gallery 121 is delighted to present our Fall Show with Guest artists Jacquelin Morin and James Walt. Jacqueline ‘s acrylic paintings are a fusion of Impression and Realism, created with loose brush strokes using vibrant hues. Much of her inspiration comes in her studio on Salerno Lake near Minden Ontario, hence the title of this show “Life by the Lake”. James Walt, A.K.A. “The Grumpsy Woodturner” lives in Quinte West. James craftmanship is self- taught; often learning through You Tube different ways to transform wood blocks into bowls and vases. He sees the hidden gems in these blocks and then works to bring them to life. The Featured Member Artist for this show is Dona Knudsen. Dona is an award-winning watercolor artist and a member of two Galleries in Belleville. Her subject for this show “Negative Spaces Positive Places” is nature and includes unique perspectives and interesting techniques to create her enchanting images. and glorious flowers

Halloween in the Village

Children’s Safety Village 129 South John Street, Belleville

The safest place to Trick or Treat is open again this Halloween. Police, firefighters, paramedics and more will be handing out treats at the Children’s Safety Village on Halloween! Doors open at 4 pm for those with sensory or ambulatory challanges and from5-7 pm for the general public. We are located at 129 South John Street in Belleville but you can park in the lot behind the old police station (entrance off George Street) and come through the back gate. We will also have a draw for hockey tickets, games with The Children’s Foundation and special treats from Elexicon Energy as well as tons of candy provided by Giant Tigers two Belleville stores. So come down and see us for lots of treats and a lot of fun.

Tyendinaga Terror Trail

Tyendinaga Terror Trail York Road, Deseronto

The Tyendinaga Terror Trail is Back! Family Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM $5 per person Teen/Adult Time: 8:30 PM – 11:00 PM $15 (ages 13 and under) $25 (ages 14 and up) This is a first-come, first-served event, and wait times may vary. The lineup is under a tent, but please dress appropriately for the weather. Food and Fun: Snacks, hot and cold drinks available for purchase Bouncy castles during daylight (weather permitting) Outdoor seating with heaters and a fire pit Photo opportunities and plenty of parking Entertainment: Family-friendly Halloween movies during Family Time Horror movies for Teen/Adult Time Tickets are cash only and sold in person.
