Hosted by musician Ray Flood our Open Mic format style session is open to all levels, genres, music, instruments, poetry, spoken word storytellers and comedy. We hope you will join us for a well-deserved bit of mid-week fun. Please note our physical space is small and is best suited for acoustic performances of a solo or at most a duo with handheld instruments only. Gallery 121 Early Spring Show

GALLERY 121 PRESENT THEIR EARLY SPRING SHOW, March 12th – April 20th Our Guest Artist is Lynne Vegter. Her life-like oil paintings are transportive; often taking you to her cabin studio on Lake Waslekoon where she spends much of her time painting and taking photos that capture the wildlife, and glistening lake surroundings. Lynne comes to us from the Bancroft area where she has been involved with several galleries as well as teaching classes and participating in lobbying activities to benefit both the wildlife and environment. Our Featured Member Artist is Larraine Milligan. Larraine is a new member to 121, but she is far from new to the art world. As a member on the board of Theatre on the Wings and a prolific artist, she has shown in a variety of different venues. She describes her art in in four words: female figure, narrative, and line. Paintings consisting of one or several of: cold wax, original charcoal lines and oil, challenge the viewer to decide on the narrative beneath her female figure’s presentation. A wonderful show. Please join us for our opening reception March 16th, 2-4 p.m.

Paranormal Investigation Tour

Tyendinaga Mohawk Community Centre 1807 York Rd, Deseronto, ON, Canada

Join us on March 30th as we try making contact once again with Captain John Deserontyon at the Tyendinaga Mohawk Community Centre. Explore the haunted stairwell, help search for evidence of a bar fight gone too far, signs of the Goat Man, and more. After our own investigation last year, SNIPE was called in from Six Nations to assist in confirming both community stories and our evidence. Watch our episode of Indigenous Paranormal on YouTube, and the SNIPE episode of Ghost Hunters of the Grand on APTN Lumi to catch up on some of the evidence gathered so far, and come prepared for a hunt. Drug and alcohol free event, proceeds to the One Dish Project for the purchase of medicine trees and berry bushes; ages 10+ welcome with an adult over 18. Refreshments will be provided by Two Row Coffee & Tea Company; products will be available for sale as well. Smudge will be provided after the investigation.
