FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

This year’s Festival of Lights is a driving event to enjoy the holiday magic in Belleville and the Downtown District from the comfort and safety of your vehicle. Take a leisurely drive along the festival route to experience 5KM of holiday cheer with lighting displays and holiday music! Click here to learn more and see the route.

ENCHANTED DOWNTOWN BELLEVILLE

There is so much to enjoy in the Downtown District this holiday season! Go for a stroll to see over 8,000 lights, large snowflakes and other holiday decor adorning the historic downtown streets. Stores are open later on Thursday and Friday night for your shopping convenience and they have a Holiday Passport Program so you just might win a prize for shopping in Downtown Belleville. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Walking or driving around with a hot chocolate and looking at holiday lights evokes a nostalgic feeling, no matter how old you are. We put a call out to our community to register for the Home for the Holidays Decorating Contest and have created a map so you can tour around and see the decorated homes! View the map.

GLANMORE BY GASLIGHT

Glanmore National Historic Site’s popular “Gaslight” evenings have been re-imagined for your safety and enjoyment. Visit Glanmore on Wednesday nights to enjoy the glow of faux gaslight and the magic of Victorian Christmas. As you explore, our interpreters will provide information about Glanmore and Victorian Christmas traditions at socially-distanced stations throughout the historic house. Timed-entry tickets are very limited and must be purchased online in advance of the event at glanmore.ca.
