Gallery 121 at 48 Bridge St. East, in Belleville, invites you to attend our “Christmas/Holiday Show”. We are happy to have 8 Guest Artisans join the Members of the Gallery to delight you with their varied works, in our truly amazing holiday show! As well as the art of our talented members we also have: Audrey Morgan’s Jewelry , Mark Hinan’s carvings, Christine Walker Bird’s fabric creations, Trevor DeMille’s ever popular dragonflies, Susan Ashworth seasonal candles, , Marg Seaton’s fused glass, and Anuhya Wise’s paper machete figures. Please join the artists at a Reception being held Saturday, November 23rd, from 2 – 4 p.m.

Quinte Youth 10 pin Bowling League

Quinte Bowl 17 Roy Blvd., Belleville

Looking for a fun new sport for your child to try? One that is affordable and offers scholarship opportunities? Check out Quinte Youth 10 Pin Bowling League!! League runs Saturday mornings at 9am starting September 7, 2024 and runs until the end of April. We are located at Quinte Bowl-17 Roy Blvd. Belleville Registration is $40 and weekly lineage of $18. Gallery 121 – 2024 Fall Show

48 Bridge Street East 48 Bridge Street East, Belleville, Ontario

Gallery 121 is delighted to present our Fall Show with Guest artists Jacquelin Morin and James Walt. Jacqueline ‘s acrylic paintings are a fusion of Impression and Realism, created with loose brush strokes using vibrant hues. Much of her inspiration comes in her studio on Salerno Lake near Minden Ontario, hence the title of this show “Life by the Lake”. James Walt, A.K.A. “The Grumpsy Woodturner” lives in Quinte West. James craftmanship is self- taught; often learning through You Tube different ways to transform wood blocks into bowls and vases. He sees the hidden gems in these blocks and then works to bring them to life. The Featured Member Artist for this show is Dona Knudsen. Dona is an award-winning watercolor artist and a member of two Galleries in Belleville. Her subject for this show “Negative Spaces Positive Places” is nature and includes unique perspectives and interesting techniques to create her enchanting images. and glorious flowers

Lorraine Roy’s “Living Language Land: Word Portraits from the Earth”

The Parrott Gallery invites the public to the Opening Reception for “Living Language Land: Word Portraits from the Earth” on Saturday, November 23 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Meet the artist, Lorraine Roy, and learn more about this travelling exhibition that features textile appliqué artwork. Take in the sights and sounds of the holiday season at the Belleville Festival of Lights! This beloved annual tradition features all kinds of beautiful lighting displays at Jane Forrester Park – now through Jan. 6. This year’s display will feature exciting new installations including a polar bear bench, and extended lights and snowflakes on the Bayshore Trail to the Shirley Langer Trail. Quinte Curling Club volunteers and Kim Wilson, an Associate Curling Professional, will be ready to share their love and knowledge of curling on Saturday, November 23, 6-8 pm. No admission fee, but you must bring clean running shoes. All other equipment provided, including smiles. Youth under 12 require a helmet.

LIVE MUSIC: Happy Ghost Gang @ Meyers Creek Brewing

Meyers Creek Brewing 60 Dundas St E, Belleville

Playing music from the 80s, 90s, 00s, and even some of of their favs from now. The Happy Ghost Gang have worked hard at honing their hunting harmonies and song selections to keep everyone happy and singing along. Jess and Ben musicians from Belleville, Ontario together are the Happy Ghost Gang. They have been recording their original music and performing select cover material around the area for a few years. The music they make has been described as rural noir, provocative and moody. Shortly after settling on the name The Happy Ghost Gang, Jess and Ben were signed to The KeeP Records in late 2022 and released an album of original material in 2023.
