Comedy Show with Deb Kimmett and Kim Pollard

San Souci 240 Front Street, Belleville

“Kimmett is on fire with her new comedy set, Smoke Show.”-Broadway World. If you need a night out and a good laugh with some friends then join smoking hot ( comedy wise at least) Deborah Kimmett ( from CBC Debaters, and Second City) for her new show SMOKE SHOW coming to the San Souci Catering at 240 Front Street, Belleville on Thursday, Nov 7th, 2024. You will laugh so much that tears will run down your leg at this fast-paced 90-minute show. In this new show Kimmett riffs on being addicted to her phone, her fear of forty-year reunions, a therapist who catfished her, pickleball, goat yoga and how at 67 she’s just learning to breathe properly. Kim Pollard a bluesy singer, who has a voice that doesn’t stop, will do a set and accompany Deborah through her show. Want to have dinner beforehand? Call: Gregg Sheridan from San Souci Catering who will be providing a varied and delicious array of tapas. It’s $28.00 plus HST (separate from ticket price) Call to reserve at 613 968 2952. Please reserve and pay ahead so it will go smoothly on the night of the event. SIDE EFFECTS: You may get your sense of humour back. Deborah will be selling and signing her new book Window Shopping for God. ( email debkimmett@gmail.com to reserve a copy) Check out more of Deb’s comedy here on Youtube! Whether on the page or on the stage, Deborah Kimmett is Canada’s comedic treasure. Colin Mochrie ( Whose Line Is it Anyway) says Kimmett’s trademark humour mixed with poignancy and relevance. This witty and wise woman has been using humour to open minds and heal hearts for over 44 years. Deborah is a Second City veteran, a regular performer on CBC Radio for 17 years, The Debaters and CBC Television’s Winnipeg Comedy Festival just aired her set on CBC TV and Gem. Her show Downward Facing Broad album became #5 on ITUNES for Canada, and she has been nominated for the National Magazine Humour Awards, Governor General Award and ACTRA award for outstanding performance by an actress. Her latest book Window Shopping for God has been named Books with Buzz for 2024. And she is currently on her cross-Canada book tour.
