As the Province enters step one of the Roadmap to Reopen tomorrow, that means patio dining can return!

Here are a couple things to keep in mind:
• Plan ahead: check your favourite restaurant to see if they are taking reservations to avoid disappointment
• Remember that the current table limit is 4 people per table
• Be patient and kind: restaurants have not had customers dining in for a while now, this can be an adjustment for everyone
• Respect COVID-19 safety protocol
• Most importantly, have fun and stay safe!

The theme of the week is trails. Belleville has an expansive network of urban waterfront trails, as well as nearby rural trails including the H.R. Frink Conservation Area.

We want to see how our local community enjoys our trails, whether it is walking, running, cycling, rollerblading or anything else!

INTRODUCING... The Discover Your Backyard Photo Scavenger Hunt!

This summer we are going to help you fall in love with local and discover your own backyard.

HOW IT WORKS:
• Each week beginning June 7 we will announce a theme on our Facebook and Instagram pages (it will be an activity or local landmark)
• Local residents are encouraged to explore our community and post a picture of whatever the weekly theme may be
• Tag our page and use #BellevilleScavengerHunt so we can see your posts (account must be public or we cannot see) and for a chance to be featured on our page
• For participating in the scavenger hunt, you will get entered in a monthly draw to win some Belleville swag and a $50 gift card to a local business of your choosing
• A draw will take place at the end of June, July and August: your name gets entered in the draw each time you post a photo!

🛑 PLEASE NOTE: The purpose of this scavenger hunt is to get local residents to rediscover familiar spaces in a fun new way. If you live outside the region, we hope that these posts will serve as inspiration for future exploring.
